Coronavirus - Essential Osteopathy Clinic update

I would like to reassure you that, with respect to the current Coronavirus (Covid-19), I am currently continuing to treat patients whilst being pro-active in following the Government guidelines. If you, or anyone you’ve been in contact with, have none of the symptoms listed below, you are welcome to still attend your appointment or book a new appointment.  I totally understand if you would like to cancel your appointment, particularly if you are in any of the vulnerable groups (over 70s, pregnant or are immuno-suppressed or have underlying health conditions).

I would ask that you do not attend the clinic if you have flu or cold-like symptoms, a fever, shortness of breath or a dry cough.  Also, if you have recently travelled to any of the affected areas abroad, please postpone your appointment for at least 2 weeks.

Please rest assured that as a professional and responsible clinician, I am doing everything possible to minimise the chances of cross-infection.  To reassure you, the following procedures are being followed:

  • I kindly request that all patients to wash their hands (toilets down the corridor to the right) before treatment.  I am washing my hands thoroughly between patients as usual.
  • All surfaces that you touch, especially the couch itself, are being sanitised throughout the day
  • I am providing hand sanitising products for your and my use
  • The cleaning regime has been increased in addition to me sanitising surfaces with appropriate cleaning products throughout the day.

If you need to check the symptoms of the Covid-19 virus or find out which areas are currently high risk, please go to the NHS website - click here.

These are challenging times which we’ll get through together.  Do contact me if you have any questions - 07887 655007 /
